Who Else Wants to Unleash Their Inner Maverick?
You CAN Be Happy and Successful
by Breaking the Rules!

Dear Fellow Maverick,

I don't know about you, but I've grown tired of trying to fit in and be like everyone else. Like you, I have Adult ADD, which means I'm not like everyone else! But I don't think that's a bad thing. Far from it.

There's a big debate in the ADD world about whether having ADD is a gift or a curse. I understand and respect both sides of the argument. And I have a slightly different perspective:

I believe that having ADD can be a curse, but it doesn't have to be.

When properly managed and fully accepted,
Adult ADD is a tremendous gift that you can use to your advantage.

You ARE Different

Have you ever met another ADDer and thought, "I really like this person. It's like I've finally found someone else who's on my wavelength!" This is not an uncommon experience for adults with ADD.

Let's face it, we're wired differently than most other people. We think differently. We go about our day-to-day lives differently. And we certainly have different challenges. Some of these differences might include:

  • Not being able to tear yourself away from interesting things, but not being able to focus on boring things
  • Having lots of energy and motivation at the start of a project, but losing momentum somewhere in the middle
  • Being willing to go the extra mile at work, but not being able to get to work on time
  • Caring deeply and generously for your loved ones, but leaving little time for your own needs

You'll notice above that I've chosen to highlight the positives. That's because focusing on the challenges doesn't lead to success. Focusing on the good things does!

"Different" Does NOT Mean "Bad"

The single biggest mistake that I see ADDers make is that they try so hard to be just like everyone else. ADDers who get caught up in trying to fit in and be like everyone else are never successful in life.

That's because it takes a lot less energy to work with what you have than to try and change who you are. It's the mavericks, the people who do their own thing, that are really thriving.

If you've read my book, Odd One Out: The Maverick's Guide to Adult ADD, then you know that I live my life according to my own rules, and I don't apologize for it. I live my life as a maverick. I'm not afraid to stand out and be different. I'm not afraid to have my own opinions or do things my own way. I continually manage my own ADD, and I absolutely benefit from this unique brain-wiring that we call "Attention Deficit Disorder." And for over 7 years now, I've been helping clients do the same.

I have a passion for working with mavericks...and the people who are ready to become mavericks.

It's Time to STOP Trying to Be Like Everyone Else and START Being Yourself

Once a year, I offer the Odd One Out Coaching Program for adults with ADD who are ready to unleash their inner maverick.

Using my book Odd One Out as a guide, we take an in-depth look at the 5 Essential Strategies for Managing Adult ADD, and delve even deeper into advanced strategies that will prepare you to unleash your inner maverick.

Jen tells it like it is, and I loved her openness and honesty.

Even though she’s an expert, Jen doesn’t beat you over the head with information. Her approach is more like ‘I’ve lived it, this is what happens, and these are the strategies and techniques I’ve developed.’

She gives you a clear, easy to follow breakdown of her skills for managing ADD. This book is an outline on how to live every day, and how to live with your Attention Deficit Disorder. This book is fabulous across the board!

Chaos! That is how I would describe my life before I began working with Jennifer.

I had low self-esteem, I felt all alone and as if I was disconnected from my peers.

Jennifer has become my safety net. She truly is someone who understands where I am at. I always know that I can turn to her.

Not only am I better with organization, but I am also more motivated. Jennifer is truly gifted. She has given me a gift - the gift of a better and easier life.

This was something I never thought I would have. Jennifer, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

The ultimate objective of this coaching program is to arm you with a toolkit of skills that you can use to manage your ADD and unleash your inner maverick.

You'll get the info, strategies, skills, and support you need to stop stressing out all the time and start enjoying your life.

After completing the coaching program, you'll be able to:

Make small but significant changes that break the cycle of overwhelm, which means spending less time feeling burnt out and stressed out, and spending more time feeling calm, centered, and productive.

Use techniques for increasing focus and concentration, which means improving your ability to pay attention when you need to.

Operate from a mindset of success, which means identifying and building on your strengths instead of focusing on your weaknesses.

Utilize simple and effective time management tools, which means managing your time more efficiently.

Design ADD-friendly organizational systems, which means spending less time and energy managing your physical spaces at home and at work.

Work towards life goals, which means moving beyond day-to-day living by adding elements of fun and creativity to your life.

Identify the rules you're following that are holding you back, which means embracing the maverick within you in order to be happy and successful.

The most interesting thing I learned in the coaching program is that ADD is manageable.

It should not exclusively be thought of as a disability, but understood as simply a difference that has positive qualities that can be embraced and nurtured.

I have a newfound belief in my abilities. I trust my life, personally and professionally, will be better from now on.

This is a Unique Opportunity to Let Your Inner Maverick Off Its Leash!

As much as I would love to be able to offer this program all year round, I don't have the flexibility in my schedule to do so.

This is the only time I'll be offering the
Odd One Out Coaching Program in 2010.

So if you've been wanting some personal, extra help from me, then now is your opportunity to get it!

As a coaching program member, you get:

Six teleclasses on Wednesdays, March 17, 24, 31 & April 7, 14, 21, each 90 minutes in length, from 8:00-9:30 PM Eastern Time. "Teleclasses" are a form of distance learning. Instead of meeting in a classroom, we meet via conference call. This allows you to participate from your office or your living room, no matter where you live! (Note: Your regular long distance charges may apply.)

Each teleclass will consist of check-ins, a topic presentation, discussion, and optional homework.

A members-only website with program notes, resources, and visual aids, which means that you can relax and participate on the teleclasses instead of struggling to take notes or absorb all the information right away.

A personal study guide for each chapter of Odd One Out, which means that you'll know in advance what we'll be covering in each teleclass and you can prepare accordingly.

Recordings of all teleclasses, which means that you can download the recordings to listen to at any time in the future.

services Weekly email check-ins with personal feedback*, which means that you'll get individual email coaching on your specific challenges and successes. Every week of the program, I'll prompt you to email me with your progress and challenges. You can ask me anything about the current lesson and I'll give you personal coaching feedback. *Available for advanced registrations only.

services A 50-minute post-program coaching and strategy session with me*, which means that you and I will privately review your progress in the program, help you define your future goals, and plan your action steps.

Please note that appointments are by phone and will be available for up to 4 weeks after the end of the program, and my coaching hours are Mondays from 2-8pm EST and Tuesdays/Thursdays from 12-5pm EST. *Available for advanced registrations only. Please don't sign up for the Advanced Program if these appointment times don't fit your schedule.

Before joining the coaching program I felt like my life was ruined.

I had no job and my relationship was suffering.

When I joined the coaching program and learned the Essential Skills, everything changed. Jennifer taught me how to slow down and that was an important step in learning how to manage my ADD.

Now I own a growing real estate business and life at home has really improved. My wife and I dont fight as much and my kids are happy to see me.

This Coaching Program is NOT for Everyone
One thing I've learned from my years of coaching is that not every coach is going to click with every person. Some people will get a lot out of working with me, while others won't.

This program is NOT for you if:

You have not read Odd One Out. It's essential that participants have a basic understanding of the concepts and skills in the book in order to proceed with this coaching program.

You CAN read the book as we go through the program. But one way or another, you'll need to read the book in order to benefit from this program.

You are not willing to commit to the process. This means attending the teleclasses, participating in the discussions, and supporting your fellow group members.

I know that everything I'm telling you sounds great, and even easy. But I'll be the first one to tell you that unleashing your inner maverick is going to take time, effort and dedication. This program isn't a quick fix. I expect you to commit to it.

You are a BMW. (If you read the book, you know what a BMW is!) This program is only for people who want to build their ADD management skills and embrace their inner mavericks. It's NOT for people who just need an outlet to vent or complain.

...oh, and I should also mention that I've been known to swear in programs. If the occasional curse word is going to offend you, then I'm not the right coach for you.

This program IS for you if:

You have read Odd One Out, got really inspired by it, and now feel ready to apply the skills and embrace the maverick within you.

(If you haven't yet read the book, you must commit to reading each chapter before its corresponding teleclass.)

You are willing to commit to the process by attending the classes and utilizing the resources provided.

You have an open mind and a sense of humor. We have things to learn, but we'll also have some fun along the way.

If you don't fit the requirements above, then please don't waste your money or my time. This program is for people who are ready and willing to learn and make changes.

Informative, entertaining and fun – that is how I would describe coaching with Jennifer!

Before I began working with Jennifer, I was managing with meds and not following through on the real world side of things.

Jennifer has since showed me through her incredible knowledge how to turn my ADD into something positive and useful. She has helped me to “think outside of the box”. I now realize that it is not my fault and I have stopped blaming myself for failures that have happened in the past.

My head is a whole lot clearer now, thanks to Jennifer!
